But you are wrong.  The profits are not "ungodly".  The oil COmpanies are making a return of 7%.  Pretty good, but not extravagant.  They make so much because their revenue is so high.  $40b of profit on revenue of $600b (not even that big when you consider the size of the feds budget is pushing 3trillion!) is 7%.  You cannot expect them to make millions when it is costing them billions to stay in business.<br/><br/>What is ungodly is the math skills in this country along with the demagoguing going on by the twerps running for president.  Think about it. <p>Can you cite some sources to back that claim up?</p>
<p>I don't think any of the candidates offer this tax relief as a permanant solution, just to help out a bit.&nbsp; I think the people who should pay for it are the politicians and their pork spending on highway bills.</p>

It is the race baiters, bigots, racists and hate mongers.  It is the Louis Farakhans, Al Sharptons, Jesse jacksons, and Jeremiah Wrights.  It is all those whose power base is based upon greed, envy, hatred, and bigotry.<br/><br/>And is one of the best reasons to vote for Obama.  I cant stand anything he avows, but then that is true of Hillary, and to a lesser extent McCain.
